Shall I Call the "Whambulence" For You?

If you're like me...there are times you can complain. Or whine. My Pastor, Paul Cooke, asked his complaining children one afternoon, "Should I call the "Wham-Bu-Lence" for you?" Quietly, I laughed hysterically. I suppose he was referring to something resembling an ambulance (Emergency Services) which comes to take away whiners.

Anyway. Here is a piece you can print off called "12 Point Cure for Complaining" from Eternal Perspective Ministries. We are currently doing one "point" per evening after dinner as part of our devotional time.

Good thing there isn't an actual "Whambulence." I'd take up all their time and they probably wouldn't have time to rescue any of the other whiners out there.

Lord, make us a grateful people who never complain but always remember, "I always deserve much worse than what I am suffering now--in fact, I deserve hell."
